So, I've been using a quality French Press for over a decade which makes great coffee. After a visit to France, we finally pulled the trigger on an espresso machine. I hate large things on my counter since we cook quite a bit and use all the countertop real estate but this is a small footprint. It works really well. My friend has a very expensive unit and I cannot discern the difference between my espresso and his. I like the 20bar Italian pump and it seems like a quality unit. Amazing price too!

Had this for over a year now and it has been the best purchase of the year! Makes perfect delicious coffee, it looks beautiful and is a workhorse. My partner and I have together about 4-6 lattes a day. It’s easy to fill and easy to clean.Different beans need different grinds which will need to be adjusted each time you open a new bag, but often it’s the same grind size for multiple bags. Most of the time if the pressure is a little low I just add a little more grind next time and it fixes the issues. Easy peasy.Always run an empty double shot first thing in the morning, use wet cloth to wipe steamer and wipe down after use. Stays clean with little effort.I highly recommend this if you’re feeling adventurous and looking for an excellent espresso at home. The video directions have always been helpful if I had questions on how to handle something like grinder cleaning(which it only has needed once).Haha now we dread getting espresso anywhere but at home because no one makes as good of a cup as we do!Saves us $$$$!

The machine works great provided a few things are followed: 1) Change the Head group gasket once every 10-12 months; 2) Use portafilters that come from CasaBrews.A few months ago I experienced a pretty bad head group leak, was not sure if it was anything internal and was prepared to send it in for repairs. Luckily before I did that I came across a blog where someone mentioned the head group gasket. I replaced it, fairly easy job and takes only a few minutes (you need some small tools to help seat the new gasket just FYI). I changed it and then was really disappointed when I saw a leak, I ended up getting a CasaBrews portafilter (whereas I was using Ikamp before) and the new portafilter does seat and seal better. A of now I have no more leaks. Happy coffee drinker again!

I contemplated getting a Breville. I am so glad that I saved some money and purchased the Casabrews expresso maker. The packaging was very sturdy so no chance of damage. The directions were very clear and setting up my machine took minutes. They even give you a second grinder with your purchase. My expresso tasted amazing. They recommend certain brands of beans that are easy to find for best taste. All of the extra accessories that come with the machine will make you an expert expresso maker. This machine is definitely worth every penny.

I've been using the Casabrews Expresso machine since Aug 2025 and love it. Never had any issues with it until last week's neighborhood power outage that left us in the dark for 90 min. When the power restored everything came back except the expresso. We found the lights blinking back and forth so we did everything to get running but no luck.We contacted Casabrews support to see if they could help. The did just that! They replied to my email within 24 hours, understood my problem and replaced my machine with a new one and within 8 days from initial contact I was brewing great coffee again. The support was friendly, understanding, fantastic and quick. Thank you Casabrews.

I have had this machine in my house for 2 years and would consider myself a heavy user, grinding and brewing 2x a day. Simple to use, very straightforward and comes very well equipped for proper care and cleaning. I like the element of some manual adjustment and variability across different coffees but overall, a very simple process. When i did run into an issue recently, even after nearly 2 years, Casabrews Customer Service went beyond my expectations to assure my experience remained great with this brand. Clearly they stand behind the product.

Customer Service: I was so excited when my machine arrived and absolutely loved it for the first few days but then the grinder stopped working after about a dozen uses. I went through the manual and followed all the steps in detaching, cleaning, and reattaching the ginger and bean hopper multiple times but it still didn't work. I contacted CasaBrew customer service and they were quick and efficient in their replies and in sending me a replacement machine.I'm a novice 'barista' so I just wanted a machine that could make me some good espresso and decent lattes but that was easy to use and this machine is perfect for that. Other than the issues with the grinder, I absolutely love this machine! It's easy to use, the drinks are delicious, and it looks really high-end. Would definitely recommend!

It took a little bit of fiddling but once you know what kind of beans it like how fine to grind and everything just works just as it should the steam wand is actually pretty good it can get to around 160-165°f for frothing and that darn good for the price. Comes with lots of goodies and I am very happy with my purchase. Would recommend new people to watch a few videos on how to properly make espresso, just so you don't spend too much time figuring it out the hard way.

This machine is sleek and compact and takes up little space on my counter. It makes good espresso and steams milk well. All things considered, (because espresso is a process) is easy to use. I've never made espresso myself before, but it was easy enough to figure out using this machine. I'm very happy with my purchase. However, where this really shines is customer service. The first machine I received had a broken piece inside and water leaked within a few minutes of filling. I reached out to customer service and by the next day they had shipped a new machine to my address. This one worked perfectly with no issues. They have a good product and they stand by it. I would definitely recommend and would buy again.

Acknowledging that I am not a professional barista, this piece of equipment has saved us a lot of money, performs perfectly, and is economic with space.I bought the unit to test if I could make a tall no foam latte comparable to a famous Seattle based coffee company. We had been buying one nearly every day for years. The latte came out perfectly on the first try. A little math shows that this affordable unit payed for itself (milk and espresso grounds included) within 26 days. The company is communicative and supportive, offering tips and video training for how to use the unit. It was not as intuitive as I might have liked, but less than five minutes of training and operation is a breeze. As a bonus, the slim profile makes it an easy addition to our space-challenged kitchen counter.I highly recommend this espresso/steamer!

After having 3 Breville machines the past 10 years I have to say I am impressed by this one. For the last 5 years I had 2 Bambino Pluses which were OK. The first Bambino only lasted 6 months and had to be replaced because it failed. The second one lasted 4 years, but then just died one morning. For $500 you would think you could send it in for service or order parts, but nope. It was just garbage. So I figured why not try out a lower cost option. After making about 12 cups I am pretty impressed. The espresso draw works very well and puts out a perfect crema. Then frothing the milk works as it is supposed to and you can control the foam volume by how you swirl the milk. My only suggestions are this. 1. Buy a nice metal tamper because the platic one that comes with this is junk. I already had one so no problem. 2. Order a nice steel frothing cup with clip on thermometer. Total you should only need to spend another $20 for a really nice setup. Now what are my complaints? Well the instructions (which were well written) tell you not to pull another espresso shot after using the steamer until the machine cools down. So if you want to make 2 Lattes then you will have to pull both shots first then froth the milk. Not a big deal, but one of the 2 shots will cool a bit more. Thats it……every thing works and the machine is simple to use. Cleaning seems pretty easy as well. The true test will be how long this machine lasts. I think I got about 4000 cups out of each of my last 2 machines before they died (minus the 6 month one). So if I can get even 2000 cups out of this one I am still ahead of the game. Time will tell. Seems like a good bang for the buck and would buy again. I will update this review if the machine prematurely fails on me. For now 4 stars.

I'm updating my review because of the excellent customer service from Casabrews. I emailed them the same day I wrote my original review. They responded within hours and said that they would either send me a new machine or provide a refund. I took a few days to decide which resolution I preferred. I thought I'd try a french press and electric frother because I'm tired of espresso machines dying right after the warranty expires. Casabrews is the first machine that I had problems with while still under warranty. I've been buying a new espresso machine every year for the past several years and am tired of wasting all that money on products that aren't built to last. The french press makes a good cup of coffee but nothing compares to the latte that I've grown accustomed to. So I replied to Casabrews and asked for a new machine. It was delivered by Amazon the next day. Joanne is the rep that I worked with and her responsiveness was extremely fast. It's a refreshing change to do business with a company that stands behind their product and cares about their customers. Thank you Casabrews for caring and thank you Joanne for being so attentive!Don't waste your money. Casabrews makes a crappy product. I purchased Casabrews Gense 3700 20 Bar Espresso Machine on 12/5/22. It was delivered on 12/10/22. I've been making lattes once or twice a day since. Last week it stopped dispensing water in the brew cycle. It's a very very slow drip. It took 3 quarts of water just to brew my 2 shot serving of coffee. While in the brew cycle water pours out the steam wand. I had the brew cycle selected and water was pouring out the wand. Like I said, I was able to get one latte but I had to go thru many cycles of brewing and a lot of water. I've tried turning the machine off, unplugging it, and turning it back on. No matter what I do, water is wasted that pours out the wand and it took about 20 minutes just to get a full serving of coffee. I only use filtered water when making coffee. I tried descaling the machine and checked and the brew head is not clogged. After spending $150, I expected this machine to last longer than 9 months. It's the worst quality espresso machine I've ever bought.

Buying Guide

Espresso grinder machines are becoming increasingly popular as more and more people make their caffeinated beverages at home. This popularity means there are a lot of options to choose from. That’s why you’ll want to keep a few key things in mind as you research. First, consider the size. Espresso grinder machines come in a variety of sizes, so you should take into account how much counter space you have available before buying. Before you start looking, measure the width and depth of the space you want to use. Next, look at the design. Espresso machines come in different designs, some with a modern look while others have a classic feel. Decide which style works best with the rest of your kitchen’s decor and make sure you choose the one that you’ll be the most comfortable using. Another thing to think about is the features. These machines come with a variety of features, from milk frothers to LCD displays. Think about which features are most important to you and decide which ones to prioritize. Lastly, consider the price of the espresso and grinder machine you’re looking at. While some espresso machines can be extremely expensive, there are some great ones at lower price points. Just be sure to set a budget and stick to it as you begin your search. Ultimately, buying an espresso machine with a grinder should be a fun and hassle-free experience. And with the tips above, you can make sure you find the perfect one for your needs.
