I love these socks. I read reviews where others got a discount and talked about how soft and comfortable etc ...and I COULDN'T believe it. But it was true, the CopperJoint Compression Socks are soft, comfortable and I love them. I wasn't given anything free or any discount either for my opinion.I had several years experience with drugstore Jobst dress socks (8-14 mmHg )that i wore for evenings where I'm a volunteer usher and stand for up to four hours constantly in one small area (no walking around), after putting in a full 8 hr day at my regular job. After the volunteer shift is up, I can't wait to take off the Jobst because they dig into my flesh at the top band, or bunch up at the ankle and cut into my skin leaving a deep red line, and are uncomfortable. I was using Jobst to ease the discomfort of standing long hours. I had no issues to medically required use of them.I bought these CopperJoint socks because for the first time ever I came back from a vacation with swollen lower legs that were a shocking unpleasant surprise. I ordered a bunch of compression socks and the first one delivered with amazon prime was CopperJoint, so it was the first one I put on after a full night of sleeping with my legs up. I was determined to squish my legs back into the shape they were prior to the vacation, and get rid of the foreign poofiness. I followed the method of putting them on by reaching inside, grabbing the heal and pulling the leg part inside out over the foot part - see the video posted by the other reviewer - it made putting these on so simple and slide on with no struggle at all) . They were soft, and they were comfortable and they had compression. The knit is like a regular sock, not thin like the Jobst dress sock, and that may be why they don't bunch up to dig into your flesh. The top band was perfect, it also was very comfortable and didn't dig into my skin. But I just put them on and I was eager to see how fast I'd want to take them off after wearing them to work. The product web page description says 15-20 mmHG compression, Then there's some fancy talk about copper and I'm not up to speed about why that's important. What did catch my eye was the anti-odor claim of the copper. So once in the socks I went for my Crocs - the rainy day ones with no holes in the shoe, just the sling back. If you've got these kind of Crocs, then you know what happens in them odor-wise with ordinary socks. I have to admit that I know how bad my Crocs get with ordinary socks and how I have to air them out for days after a wear (first timer with no-hole Crocs!). The CopperJoint socks didn't stink. After work I still kept them on. In fact, at bed time, I decided not to take them off and only took them off to shower and put them back on again. I decided to really put them to the test and wear the Crocs two days in a row in the same socks. End of day- no stink. Wore them again to sleep. Determined to see their breaking point I continued to wear the no-hole Crocs every day for a week with taking these socks off for shower. After about four days of constant wear I didn't wear them to bed because my legs were back in normal shape and felt great. But for the full week with the same socks and the same Crocs i tried to break the CopperJoint socks odor resistance. It never happened. The socks felt great, soft, and continued to impress with the compress for the full week. I won't be testing the CopperJoint like this further, they passed my curiosity test. I'm going to try the other socks I got now to compare comfort .Final thought is that I absolutely would buy this again because it compressed, felt great and has stink protection. I also will hope they start making no-show socks for high heels with their copper technology, that would we awesome for all-day odor-free wear.updated review 3/2020 - I love these socks, they maintained their compression and are well-made. I have several pair that I wear so that i don't have to go any days without it. The compression really makes a difference to keep legs comfortable with standing long timesupdated review 6/2021 What happened? The first compression socks I've managed to have success with. Ordered a pair to try them out and they work well and while they take a little effort to put on and remove of course, they are comfortable once on and not too hard to remove. I've ordered three more pair after trying out the first pair for a bit. They're expensive but I couldn't bring myself to dock them a star because they seem very durable and I just haven't been able to find comfortable compression socks until now. Be sure to not get a size too small.

I was given a pair sometime ago and it worked and fit well. I didn’t know the size I was gifted so with my purchase I followed the guide and chose a large as I’m a 9:5 to maximum 10 shoe size. So either I received the wrong size as the package did not indicate the size on it so I could verify or the measurement table is off. The length of the sock from toe to heel is short resulting in discomfort of the toes trying to stretch it as much as possible to fit the bottom of my feet.It really works for my circulation issue in spite of the misfit. The pain I feel in my feet in particular my heels stepping off from getting out of bed in the mornings has started to dissipate after a few use. The discomfort of the toes however, has hindered my desire of wearing them more often.Another observation is that the fabric is not as thick like the previous one, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. I live in a tropical climate so as much cooling as possible is always a plus.

I've tried many brand and so this was the first time for this brand. They're easy to put on, but the top has only a half inch and would not lay flat, no matter what I tried. After 5 hours of wear my calves hurt. This was not a day that I needed compression, but it was a try out. My legs and feet both were in so much pain, after the first 2 hours of my day, I couldn't wait to get home and remove them. The pain left after I removed them. I purchased the correct size small since I wear a size 6 shoe. I'm not sure if sizing up would have made a difference. I've used a higher compression score on other brands, size small without any pain. They're made well, arrived fast, packaged well, unfortunately they're just not for me.

The hose were fine and fit okey, except for squeezing my toes too tightly and there they hurt my feet when walking and wearing beginning after only a couple of hours of wear and sitting and standing at church. I would prefer to have those without the toes in the hose. Not the zipper kind, just toes out. I will have to cancel any future ordering of these hose, unless you have the toes out hosiery. They are so thick they don't fit into my shoes, which are simply front half shoes. I do not buy any shoes but rounded sole shoes, so that has nothing to do with the shoe fit, and the shoes are medium width, where regular toe and heel shoes I buy are more narrow, and I would never be able to wear the hose then.

Buying Guide

Athlete compression socks utilize the anti-inflammatory properties of copper to naturally improve your blood circulation, relieve pain, and reduce fatigue in your legs. Before you buy a pair of athlete compression socks, first consider why you need them, your size, and the compression level. athlete compression socks are beneficial for a variety of different lifestyles, so think about what features will work best for you. If you are an athlete, then look for socks with tight compression that can help improve your performance by stimulating blood flow. Workers who are constantly on their feet will want a pair that focuses on improving blood circulation and reducing muscle fatigue. If you suffer from arthritis, swelling, or soreness, then select a pair with a higher copper content that prioritizes comfort and pain relief. Next, think about what size you need. Some athlete compression socks offer unisex sizing while others may be specifically tailored to men or women. Make sure you carefully read the size chart of each product to see what option best matches your shoe size. As a rule of thumb, select one size up if you want more comfort and one size down if you want more compression. Finally, you need to decide what level of compression you want from your socks. Athletes and those with medical conditions like arthritis should look for socks with a high compression level. If you simply want to improve your circulation or reduce minor fatigue, then grab a looser pair of athlete compression socks.

"I love these socks. There something different about the way the socks were made, they are now tight at the top band and not comfortable right out of the box. My older socks are now more precious to be saved and amde to last as long as I can because the newer manufactured ones are not as good"

"The first compression socks I've managed to have success with. Be sure to not get a size too small."
