Excellent Product. This is the first time that I have used this resin product. I used the resin for a 2.5" deep mold, 5" height, 4" Wide. I followed the directions exactly; voila, perfect results! My project required me to layer the resin within the proper time frame. Mixing the resin exactly as directed in the instructions is crucial, warm bath for the resin, and 3 minutes gently siring properly. You can't be in a hurry. I monitored the resin for bubbles to possibly develop on each layer for about the first 15 minutes for each. There were very few bubbles which were popped accordingly. I walked away too soon in monitoring the last layer and there were a few bubbles when I returned. Bad thing to do. The resin already started to cure. I waited a little longer, drilled into the resin to reach the bubbles to pop and cleaned drill dust thoroughly from the mold. I poured another thin layer of resin to fill bubble holes and coat the face side completely. There are a few tiny bubbles, but they are not any big deal and not that noticeable. I believe the bookends turned out beautiful. The Craft Resin Store has great customer service! They promptly sent me replies to my questions that I needed answered quickly to save me from my bubble problem (my fault). This project turned out beautiful. It's crystal clear. I used this to make a chessboard and found it very easy to use and crystal-clear. Be warned, this has a low viscosity compared to other epoxies, but, wow, does it cure smooth and glossy.

This is a good kit, 1 gallon total per package. It is a high gloss, crystal clear epoxy resin that dried overnight (3/8" thick). This resin is self leveling and pours easily. The key to a great pour is in the mixing, add equal parts resin and hardener in a painters measuring cup with flat sides and bottom, the use a flat paint stir stick mixing for about 3 mins min. while scaping the sides and bottom. The instructions will say "do not scape sides while pouring due to non blended mix) you will not have this problem if mixing as stated here. You will see the bubbles start to dissipate as the resiin becomes clearer, keep mixing then pour. Use a flame from a propane torch to remove any air bubbles. (Very few if any air bubbles will form is mixed in the above manner.) There is very little as far as smell goes with this mix and I had about 1 hour working time at 80 deg. Let cure for 72 hr min. Before use.

Just used this yesterday and it set up beautifully! It dried crystal clear, no bubbles and was ready to remove from molds in less than 24 hours, was actually ready in about 12 hours. I've used other brands in the past that ended up drying with a yellow tint, not this one. I couldn't recommend it more, in fact I just ordered 2 more gallons. Try it and you won't be disappointed.

It is easy to use following instructions and having 1:1 ratio you just need same amount of each solution. It doesn't have a bad smell BUT you still need to wear your safety items!

I am a resin artist and this resin is by far the best I have used and I tried many. First of all. The bubbles disappear on their own which one of the biggest reason why I love this brand. The clarity of my pieces have gone up 10 times. I mean it just looks like clear glass. It dries like normal resin do. It depends on the temperature you are working in. I just love it. Don’t think twice getting it. It’s worth every penny.

Thought it was a small amount for the price. Grate product tho .

A really good quality resin, very easy to work with and mixes well. Dries to a crystal clear colour. Has a good working time. Performance wise I have shallow poured, and slightly deep poured and no matter what the thickness it's been a consistently great finish. East to clean up and very versatile. Came with well labelled bottles, some gloves and a really nice quality stiring stick. This is really low odour as well.

Love this Resin! Easy to use and hardens within 24 hours. Little to no bubbles in my resin projects. I love that it is food safe. It takes mica powder and liquid resin dye very well. This is my second time ordering it. It’s not overly expensive as other food safe Resins are and I really love the results I get using it. I will definitely buy it again.

I have been using the same 2 epoxys for a while now, and decided to be adventurous. Of the ones I tried, this one was, overall pretty good. It finishes with the clearest finish of any epoxy I have ever used. It is like glass. So why 3 stars.... I will not use it again for a "base" layer on a cup. I will use it for other pourable projects, but not for turning. After awhile It ...I don't even know what to call it...it drifts. I have never had so many holes or gaps with an epoxy as I did on this one. It completely ruined a couple of projects. Oh, and do NOT ad ANYTHING to it, no micah powder, and def no glitter. I use a dust glitter to add depth to a very particular cup style. I do this successfully often. This stuff, nope, couldn't hand the the wait of a fingernail worth of 'dust' in a 10ml batch. It was awful. I do however, use it for other layers, especially when I need a super thin layer. It is great on pour projects, crystal clear, and seems to mix easier/better than other epoxies. One huge challenge is getting a little out of the jars. They are wide mouth, so don't pour great. I have used several suction style methods, proves to just be messy and a pain, would love a pump option on these.At any rate, this is a good epoxy, just kind of depends on how experienced you are, and what your are doing with it. I will purchase it again, because there are definitely things I like about it.

The resin is quite thick and not flowing, I had to use my hands to spread it as it was not flowing. Strong smell, states No smell on the product. Less working time than normal resin, just about 20- 25 min than 35-45 min in normal resin products. Not happy with the product.Positive- No bubbles formed, so that was good. Quick Delivery but not packed properly as box was already broken
