This product is advertised to have an extremely strong magnet. And that it can hold my biggest knife. But when I put my long serrated knife on it, it just slides right down. It also isn’t able to hold my kitchen shears.

I followed each step per the instructions. At first is didn’t stick well and started to slowly fall. I put it back in its position, pushed down on it against the wall for about 15 minutes and waited overnight before putting my valuable knives on it. The next day, I put just a few on the holder and within an hour my best knife fell off, bounced off the corner and fell behind the stove. Good bye knife.Don’t believe that this is an adhesive by any stretch of the imagination. The magnet strength is not particularly strong and cannot hold a heavier handled knife

The wood tone blends in with my hickory cupboards well enough and drilling through tiles with massonary drill was easy enough. PS. alien tape won't hold this up on tile, it slumps down the smooth tile.

Initially I loved this product. I have a tile backsplash, so I can't drill into the wall. This seemed like a perfect solution. However, after one year, the adhesive is failing and the knife strip is sagging on one side.

Barely holds a larger knife - it tilts and looks unsafe. I specifically compared the magnet to another strip I have, from a different manufacturer, and this one is much weaker. Returning.

So this started off bad and got worse. First off the mounting instructions for using screws said to use a 6mm drill bit for making holes for the screws. That drill bit size was way too big. The mounts and screws just slipped into the hole, they would just fall out. I would recommend a 3mm drill bit. I decided just to screw in the holes to the wall without the drill, which worked much better. Then I mounted it and stuck the knives on, only for the magnet to be super weak! The video shows my bread knife sliding down the block instead of sticking to it. I'm not sure if the strip I got was defective, but it did not work in any aspect from instalation to adhesion.

I cleaned the tile well with the proved cleaner and let it sit. It seemed to mount pretty strong but it fell after a few days. The magnet was also too weak to hold heavier quality kitchen knives.

C'est un investissement qui en vaut vraiment la peine et qui transformera votre expérience culinaire pour le mieux !

Ja, sie sieht schick aus, und ja, sie funktioniert auch.Die Montage mit dem Klebeband ist einfach und simpel. Man muss nur darauf achten, dass man nicht schief klebt. Dann sollte auch alles funktionieren.Natürlich habe ich auch die Messer erstmal mit Griff nach unten anbringen wollen, aber da haben alle anderen Bewertungen schon recht: Die Magnete sind zu schwach dafür.Wenn man nun aber die Messer mit dem Griff nach oben anbringt, rutschen diese zwar, aber nur bis zum Griff. Somit hat man das Problem des Rutschens schnell gelöst.Einen Kritikpunkt gibt es jedoch noch: Ich klebe eine Magnetleiste in die Küche, normalerweise nicht unweit der Kochfläche entfernt. Wenn es in der Küche nun feucht wird, weil viel gekocht wird, löst sich der Kleber nach einiger Zeit. Oder besser: KANN sich lösen. Bei mir hat er es bei einer von zwei Leisten.Das ist schade und muss dann mit einem neuen Klebeband gelöst werden.Schrauben ist wohl die deutlich stabilere Möglichkeit, aber das wollte ich mir nicht antun wenn man die anderen Rezessionen so anschaut, dass es wohl mehr Qual als Lösung ist, die Löcher zu bohren.

The magnetic bar has some heft and appears well made. There are no visible seams in its construction. The magnetic strength is significant. Has no difficulty adhearing to the refrigerator, nor with the knives to it. Getting the knives off of the counter in a traditional block is a good space saving idea. And what better way to display my new Henckels knives! I do recommend having some protective plastic tips on the blade points to avoid possible injury to someone running their hands along the side of the refrigerator!

This is exactly what I wanted. This magnet is very strong and very high-quality. It holds to my refrigerator very firmly and I currently have seven knives on it all of which are being held very securely. I wanted a knife holder that did not require the use of screws or adhesive strips so this was perfect for me. I’ve had this thing up for about a week and it hasn’t slid from its original position at all. Highly recommend. Would actually be good for holding lots of different things throughout the house and garage wherever there is metal for it to stick to so I’m sure that at some point I will order again.

Works great ! Sticks to my fridge side.. like glue...it won't be moving. I have 5 relatively heavy new knives on it... they stick like glue too. All n all.... a great purchase.

This is a heavy duty magnet that doesn't slip at all on my fridge even though I have used every inch of it. Great purchase!
