EDIT: Flitz is still a great polish! However, the “up to 6 month anti-tarnish formula” statement does not apply to the copper jewelry pieces that I polished. They tarnished in just a few days.😳 To be fair, I’m totally new to working with copper, so it may be another factor causing the tarnish. I will leave my review at 5 stars until I can go back to work with copper once again and update then. It applies nicely and brightens so beautifully when I polished with Flitz! 💙I love this Flitz polish! It’s easy to use. It comes in a nice box that I actually keep the tube in for storage. I make jewelry out of pure copper wire. Copper darkens & dulls quickly. You can see a wire spool in the background of the video clip and how beautifully bright it gets after using the Flitz polish with my Dremel on my pieces after making them.After polishing, I wash my piece & my hands with soap & water, then dry well. I get so excited to see how they shine when I’m doing so.I made & polished these today. I wonder now though, if it’s better if I skip the wash and just clean with cloth, as to make sure that product remains on the jewelry piece. It says “Anti-Tarnish Formula-Lasts up to 6 Months”! That would be AMAZING! I’ve just used today for first time so I do not know its long-term effects. I will have to make more jewelry, polish & store to see how that works. For now I’m glad I opted for this product!And I saved money, instead of buying the cake-type polishing pastes. This works on metal, plastic & fiberglass, also says it restores paint, so don’t need different polish cakes for each type of metal and each other material. I hope this review helps.

I have used a LOT of these types of polishes in the past 10 years. Some from Germany, China and the U.S. I will tell you, this Flitz is the best of any of them. It really works into the metal and pulls debris, stains, tarnish, or dirt out extremely quickly and easily. I have used others, that needed a 2nd or 3rd application, and this past works absolutely wonders on the first application. I used this to polish up 1950s era weaver stope bodies that were dirty, slightly rusty, or tarnished. The results are clearly shown in the before and after pictures. I used this paste with a Dremel tool and cotton flap wheels, and the result is just OUTSTANDING. Do yourself a favor, try this paste out. Use it sparingly, a little dab goes a LONG way with this paste. I highly recommend this product!

Works well. I have a vintage saxophone I’m overhauling on my own, and I used this to remove years of old dried up spit, red rot, heat damage, tarnish, minor scratches, and more. It removed the patina for sure, but that was expected. You barely need any to get the job done, and I still have 2/3 of the polish left on the tube now that I’m finished. There’s a bit of a smell, but it isn’t significant. Any polish left on your hands can be washed off.

This stuff is a great product for shinning up metal or plastic. I used a little extra elbow grease with this paste and got excellent results. Filtz has a little smell to it but it works much better than rubbing compound.

Used this with the recommended #000 steel wool on rusted chrome plated bathroom medicine cabinet and was shocked how much rust it took off. Really shined it up too. This also removed tarnish on a stainless steel necklace. Great stuff and you only need a small amount.

Nice stuff to work with. More of a paste than a liquid, so more of it stays on the buffing wheel or whatever medium you're applying it to.. Leaves a very nice finish. Happy this product showed up, unlike some of my other orders...frustrating! Anyway I'm very happy with Flitz and would happily recommend it and this seller.

If you only have a little metal to polish, then I say might as well use the Best. I have been using Flitz since it hit the market over 30 years ago (WAY CHEAPER). It is hands down the best polish. Don't bother with anything else. It takes some elbow grease for best results, and it is just ridiculously overpriced. What can I say. Decide for yourself.

supuestamente pule plásticos. hice el procedimiento correctamente y lo único que hizo es manchar y opacar mis plásticos, les quitó todo el brillo y por mas que lo pulo les quedo una mancha blanquisca y opaca, en el metal tampoco quito manchas ni pequeñas rayas. no sirve para nada.

I have used Flitz paste tube previously for other metal-polishing tasks. It worked very well. I got green liquid version specifically to polish plastic. I have only used this "green liquid" version of Flitz 3 times. I also have some abrasions/marks on auto paint that I need to buff out. It is specifically advertised for that task, so I assuming it will work. Fritz has an excellent reputation when used as intended.So far, I had INCREDIBLE results on one plastic item, and mediocre results on the other 2. I am not going to knock any stars off, as the failed tests were not the intended or advertised use for the product.All tests were performed with a battery operated Dremel and a felt polishing wheel. I thought about starting with a cloth and polishing by hand. That may be a better way, particularly with plastic glasses. That said, it was faster with the Dremel. Probably take more care with the speed and heat generated to avoid melting/deforming the plastic.TEST 1: Red plastic/acrylic watch crystal on a vintage LED watchThis was the reason I got the Flitz. I have a decades old watch with a nice red acrylic crystal that was so scratched, I could hardly see the small, vintage LED numbers below it. I applied the green Flitz liquid directly to the watch crystal and started slow speed on the Dremel. I then turned it to high speed. This one only has 2 speeds and since it's battery operated it is not extremely fast. I recommend using slower speeds on a corded Dremel. Again, heat may cause problems. I applied more Flitz 3-4 times.RESULT 1: The results were nothing short of amazing. The scratched, dull, hard to read crystal looks almost new. I am extremely happy with the results. See picsTEST 2: Plastic reading glass lens with pretty large abrasion and a small scratchSo, I twisted my ankle several years ago and fell face first onto blacktop. My reading glasses lens absorbed the impact and created a large scratch/abrasion. I applied green Flitz to the lens and started on slow then went to high speed. I applied a little more Flitz 3-4 more times.RESULT 2: The white, almost opaque scratch became clear. (see pics) It is at least clear, but the area of the scratch definitely changes the focus/magnification of the lens. I don't know if I got it too warm, but it seems like the area immediately around the scratch is different as well. The shape of the scratch is definitely still visible. It is definitely MUCH improved, but I'm not sure Flitz is a good solution for plastic lens scratches. Then again, I have no idea what I'm doing.TEST 3: Plastic lens on black sunglasses. These sunglasses laid face down and got a clear "rub mark" that was about the size of a dime right in the main focal area of the lens. It was extremely annoying and made the sunglasses unusable. I applied Flitz to the lens and followed the process above.RESULT 3: The white/gray, nearly opaque abrasion is gone. However, the area polished is also a little bumpy/wavy. It is very clear, which is a huge improvement. However, it looks a little blurry when you look right through that particular spot. There is also a slight "halo" around that edge. Maybe that is a coating that partially polished away? (see pics) Again, this may be because I got it too warm. Maybe I used the wrong felt polishing wheel for plastic lenses. I definitely do not know what I am doing, so the less-than-stellar result may be 100% my fault. Did I mention that removing scratches from plastic sunglass lenses is NOT AN ADVERTISED USE of Flitz?SUMMARY:I am extremely happy that my watch is usable and the crystal looks great! (see pics) That was worth the price of the Flitz green liquid. If I can figure out how to make it work for polycarbonate sunglass lenses, I have a EXTREMELY scratched pair of vintage Gargoyles that I would love to restore. I need more practice and research before I try that project.ADVICE:If you want to clean up an acrylic/plastic watch crystal...BUY THIS. If you want to use it for any of the advertised and documented uses for Flitz green liquid...BUY THIS. It definitely works.

It worked well for the application I needed it for. I used it on stainless exhaust tips, and it worked well. Took a little elbow grease but it cleaned the tips inside and outside.

I have used this on my jewelry for a long time, it works so well. Just wipe a good amount of it on and let dry good then polish with a soft cloth. Scratches are gone and shines like new. I did use it on my stainless sink, and it looked so nice.

I bought this for a nickel plated resonator guitar, it goes a long way and is very gentle and effective. It takes some work on heavy tarnishing, but better than being to abrasive. i'd recommend it.

This product is better than they claim! I have never before found a cleaner/polish that is this good!It’s a little pricey because I use it on everything. I wish I could afford a 5 gallon bucket of this awesome product. It doesn’t go far when using a cleaning pad too work it into whatever your cleaning and if you use your fingers it doesn’t Hoe further but wears my fingers out not to mention I don’t like any cleaner/chemical absorbing into my skin.

I bought this to clean the chrome in my car that had become “milky”. It worked great. I used it like a wax, apply and rub it out. Worked fantastic! Looking to see how else I can use this product!

It definitely turns tarnished dingy metals into shiny ones again. I hoped it would work for fine scratches as well, but it didn’t quite work. My watch band is still scratchy although it’s shinier.

It is like duct tape or WD40. So many uses. Good stuff

I have found this Flitz product indispensable in cleaning and polishing brass church plates, cups, candle holders and followers.

I use Flitz to clean stainless steel on a boat I use in the Atlantic Ocean. It's easy to apply, works quickly and well, and easy to remove. I have not tried it on any other applications, but on stainless exposed to salt air and water, it's my choice.

For different polishing purposes I have used in the last 30 years a paste called "Pool Blau" that my mother bought to do kitchen cleaning. Since the past is now gone, I had to get a replacement. Flitz is coming to the quality of Pool blau very near. Since its also working for any kind of glass, it also works for Fiberglass and therefore also for plastic/resin model kits. There are also polishing componts from Tamiya, but there are hard to get here and way more expensive.

I usually rely on stainless cleaners that you would apply to a kitchen sink or fridge to clean my DeLorean - they do a pretty good job with light deposits, and apply a great shine, but struggle to clean off any contaminants, oxidization, hard water spots, or anything that's really 'stuck on'. I decided I wanted to see just how brilliant I could get the stainless steel body panels, so I went with Flitz, mostly because it was advertised as non-abrasive (and checking carefully showed that indeed it is).Flitz does what it's supposed to - it's a great 'deep cleaner', and easily took off hard water marks, oxidized contaminants (the black gunk pictured), and everything else - stuff all the previous stainless cleaners that I have used struggled to get off (if they got it off at all). I found that I had to use quite a lot of Flitz to do the job, but because it was so effective, I didn't particularly mind.The one area Flitz loses marks for me is in the shine/appearance department - maybe I was doing something wrong, but I didn't find it really left a 'mirror shine' - the pictures on Flitz's site of brilliant shine after polishing aren't what I experienced. The metal looked clean, but even after a buff, it looked a little dull. I followed up the Flitz with a traditional stainless polish/shine (Weiman's), and that did the trick. I worked section by section - polish with the Flitz, buff it off, apply Weiman's, buff it off. The result is the passenger door there - I might do it a second time, but it's pretty impressive, and the Flitz added a depth of clarity and shine to the stainless steel that a traditional stainless cleaner alone just doesn't.Four stars - one star removed for the fact that I don't really think Flitz is a 'shiner' so much as it is a 'deep cleaner'. I think for anyone that's trying to clean up metal that has oxidization or 'stuck on' marks that won't come off with a more gentle cleaner, Flitz is probably your best choice; with no physical abrasives, it's not going to scratch anything (unless you use a poor quality micro-fibre), and it really preps the surface for a proper shining product.

The universe is wierd and ugly to be reminded that you can get the new look and long life out of your life and things that look great after this stuff is used on the stuff you have already.Silver to epoxy on the bumper and the chrome it's just a lot more than they say. I'm a little less inclined to review, Flitz demands one from me to send you some tidbit of awesome products!!

I can't put into words how much I adore this product. I use it to polish and repair many things, particularly musical instruments and related accessories. I've also used it for some rougher patches on my car, and to shine up some antiques. Every time I use it, I'm shocked at how well it works. I always keep a few containers of this stuff in my toolbox. This is perhaps the second greatest invention in all of human history; a close second only to the wheel.
