My hands are no longer cracked and bleeding, or look like a dry desert, I still get some sore flare ups but that's mostly hives from the heat of wearing gloves all day, but I was having a horrendous reaction to the nitrile gloves at work that we have to wear. My hands are smooth and silky again and this stuff has been a miracle! Doesn't smell nice sadly but it does what it's supposed to do, it's protecting my skin.

I purchased this item at the same time as the Trader Joe's Ultra Moisturizing Hand Cream.( the one in a 3oz aluminum tube)Comparing these two:This product, gloves in a bottle, is closer to a lotion consistency, but does provide soft hands, and it will hold up to a quick hand washing. If you really scrub your hands for a "happy birthday" handwash, you'll likely need to reapply. I like the way it makes my hands feel. It absorbs into my skin well and rather quickly. A very light scent. Nearly scentless, it should not conflict with any other fragrances you may wear. The Trader Joe's hand cream is thicker, definitely a cream. I love the way it feels on my skin and how well it moisturizes my cuticles. I had really dry damaged and cracked cubicles becore, and this cream really sticks with me. It goes on very velvety, and absorbs quickly. There is no greasey feeling, but it sticks through a hand wash a little better that the one above. It lasts better if you need a hand cream to use before you fall asleep, in my opinion. I think the metallic tube is Very retro cool looking, but it can be hard to dispense the cream. It seems it will be more difficult once you start to get to the end. We shall see.My Winter dry skin is battled well by both. My hands and cubicles are in much better shape because of these products.

I absolutely hate the feeling of lotion on my hands and how it makes anything I touch greasy. This is the only moisturizer I’ve found that actually doesn’t feel greasy and doesn’t leave it on things I touch. I really recommend

This lotion is pretty amazing, it really helps me avoid painful cracks in the skin on my hands and fingers. I haven't found anything else that works as well. It has a very mild scent and absorbs quickly and while it is expensive it's worth it and I only use a little each day.

I was a bit sceptical when I first bought this product but it really does seem to work! You only need a small amount, it’s easily absorbed & not at all greasy once applied & massaged into your hands. It definitely seems to protect my hands from minor cuts & abrasions when working on the shop floor/in the warehouse. A bottle lasts ages so it’s actually very good value.

I am a full time chef and have been in kitchens for 27 years. As much as I love still being involved in all elements of kitchens, my hands however don’t. Years and years of washing and having my hands immersed in water, detergents, sanitiser, etc… my skin tears easily. My wife found gloves in a bottle for me and what made it better and different from the rest is it is water resistant. The fact that you don’t have to reapply after washing hands makes it the perfect product for anyone that has wet hands throughout their day without the inconvenience and expense of having to put on after every wash.

I like this lotion. It is a bit thinner than a typical hand cream, but does seem to last longer. It is not greasy and doesn’t have a fragrance, which is important to me. It doesn’t moisturize quite as well as a thicker cream, but overall good product and I reach for it frequently.

First time I have bought this size, but I have bought smaller units in the past. The product is very good, I wish it was less expensive, but it doesn't wash off every time a wash my hands and seems to take less to cover than classic lotions. I seem to get less hangnails and cuticle issues when I remember to re-apply a small amount at every hand washing. Don't get me wrong, it doesn't completely wash off like typical lotions, but putting a little on every time my hands are clean seems to make it more effective. This particular product, the 16 ounce bottle doesn't dance around and tip as much as the smaller bottle so it is more convenient. And although still not cheap, it is a better value than the 8 ounce bottles.I got my first sample of Gloves in A Bottle from my dermatologist years ago. He gave me a whole basket of free samples of different products, and the one that worked was Gloves in a Bottle. I was handling a lot of corrugated cardboard boxes and my hands were literally cracking everywhere. Biggest problem I had was finding someone who sold product. Both places I found no longer sell it as best I can tell, so I get it on the internet.I considered getting the gallon size from Amazon, it is a slightly better price, but they show the fluid ounce price as being $0.04, which is totally wrong. So do your own math.I am now using it on my legs and arms, Colorado is so dry that my skin cracks and I look like an alligator. I use about a fourth of what I used of an Aloe lotion that seemed to work well.

I purchased Avon Silicone Glove hoping for a cheaper alternative to Gloves in a Bottle and was disappointed. It smelled strongly like baby lotion or diaper cream. On the other hand, I actually love the way Gloves in a Bottle smells (it does not contain added fragrance or perfume, that's just the way it smells). Avon was just like any other regular lotion and came off as soon as it touched water, becoming very slippery.Perhaps the biggest benefit has been that Gloves in a Bottle helps heal and protect the dyshidrotic eczema on my fingertips. See pictures - no filters were applied to the images. It was hard to focus the camera while using only my non-dominant hand, but the pics were taken within a few minutes of one another.Without Gloves in a Bottle, my fingertips are hard scales of dry, peeling, painful skin. After applying this lotion, the scales are softened, peel much less frequently, and don't hurt anymore.I have tried many, many other lotions, creams, and salves in an attempt to get the right one. Corn Huskers Lotion didn’t become slick even when washing my hands, but was not nearly moisturizing enough. Bag Balm was highly moisturizing but way too greasy and heavy. It would stay on through washing mostly because it repelled water (which meant I probably wasn't able to clean my skin either). Curel Ultra Healing lotion and Gold Bond Eczema Relief hand cream soothed the dry scales but immediately washed off if wet and would pose a hazard if I tried to pick up a cold drink with condensation on it.Gloves in a Bottle is the undisputed winner. I will happily pay the higher price because nothing else works as well as this. It's the only one that does it all - moisturizes dry skin, soothes eczema, is not perfumed, and doesn't compromise grip. The relief lasts for hours even though I wash my hands frequently while cooking, gardening, cleaning, and handling my pets. An unexpected bonus is it does appear to allow grime to come off a little easier if my hands get dirty grease stains from tinkering on my vehicles. After trying the knockoff and many others, I've found no substitute for Gloves in a Bottle. It's the original and the best.

Words cannot describe how amazing Gloves in a bottle is. I was gifted a bottle by my wife over a year ago and I mistakenly set it aside thinking it was the same as all other lotions on the market. This year, we started walking to work with frigid wind chills and the backs of my hands have been cracking and bleeding like never before. I was desperate, I was using multiple alternative lotions and O'keefe's working hands, but I was always dissatisfied with the delay in results and the residue they all left on my hands long after applying. Thus, I grabbed my lonely bottle of Gloves in a bottle and gave it a go. Wow, it is incredible. Not only does it instantly help the dry, cracked, bleeding hands that I have been plagued with, but it really does battle those frequent hand washings at work. I have never been more pleased with a product, it may seem that it is expensive, but being that I don't use many cosmetic products, it has proved to be a wise investment. Very wise. I decided to buy this 16oz bottle and keep my 8oz bottle at my desk. I find that at least one application before work and one application before bed really helps and applying every 4 hours as the bottle indicates works wonders. My recommendation - don't hesitate, order Gloves in a bottle, be dedicated to treating your skin as indicated, it is worth the price and the long term investment for your skin. Thank you Gloves in a bottle for this miracle product, you have a lifelong customer. Kudos, A++, 100% satisfied, Happy Camper!

This is my all-time favorite hand lotion. I think I've tried them all! Some are too greasy, some don't smell nice, but don't seem to really moisturize, and some work well, but don't last long. Gloves in a Bottle is my holy grail! It absorbs quickly and is not greasy. It keeps my hands feeling moisturized and protected for the whole day. I generally use it twice a day - once in the morning and once at night. In the past, my hands have been dry and cracked, but this lotion truly has solved my problem. It's pricy, but worth it.

I got this as it promotes their claim that it doesn’t wash off. But it does. After applying to hands and letting it dry, after 10 mins my hands got wet and saw white liquid come off and felt my hand skin again as opposed the thin layer of the lotion prior to wetting and washing hands. I also feel that it doesn’t really moisturise either. At best if you keep your hands dry it does act as a layer of protection but not much else. Disappointed as my $2 supermarket moisturises as least does moisterise

Can't say for certain if this works any better than the other big brand lotions, if it was priced a bit more competitively it would be an easy recommend. It does soak in fairly quickly and lasts through at least a couple quick washes.

I love this lotion. My dermatologist recommended it. It’s quickly absorbed and it’s totally greaseless. There is no scent which I really like. I ordered 2 bottles, one fir the house and one to put in my purse. I wash my hands several times a day and it’s nice to have a lotion that keeps my hands moisturized without greasiness all day. It’s good as a body lotion, not just hands. I highly recommend this wonderful lotion.

My hands have always been dry and have gotten cracked/painful/itchy at times. I was looking for a product that would protect them but soak in quickly so that I could get on with whatever I was doing, and Gloves in a Bottle is a good product for that. I wouldn't say it lasts 8 hours - it definitely washes off if I wash my hands with any harsh soap or do the dishes - but it is quick and easy to reapply. I also use it as a base layer for other lotions: I apply Gloves in Bottle, let it soak in, and then apply ANOTHER protective hand product (like Working Hands) for extra protection. I'll definitely buy it again - my hands have been happy since I started using it, and no more cracks or pain!

I have really dry skin on my fingers and around my nails. I wash my hands repeatedly during my 13+ hour long shifts. Since I work in healthcare, this product was appealing. It’s okay. The small bottle fits in my scrub pocket so I can carry it with me during my shifts; it’s non-greasy and has no noticeable scent; it didn’t irritate my skin; but it didn’t really do much to reduce or soothe my skin dryness. For my skin needs, it wasn’t worth the cost. It might be better suited for people that are already battling dry skin issues.

Gloves in a bottle really works in protecting your hands. The one thing you should look out for is that the lid will loosen up in your pocket and the gloves in a bottle will end up all over your clothing, the sofa and everything else, so keep that lid on tight!!

As soon as the weather turns cold, my hands and fingers become so dry that they crack and bleed. The pain of having cracks on my fingertips is almost unbearable. I've tried using a built-in whole house humidifier and numerous lotions and creams, yet none helped to alleviate this problem. For me, it becomes so severe, that it's difficult for me to press the keys on my keyboard or to floss my teeth. The pain is at times excruciating. After searching the Internet for hours, I came across this product. I spent a great deal of time reading the incredibly positive reviews on the companies website. Than I went to Amazon and read the reviews, which were also mostly positive. Thinking that I had finally found my answer, I ordered 2 bottles of this product. After all, with all of the amazing success stories, how could I go wrong.Gloves in a Bottle is advertised as a shielding lotion. According to the advertising and the label on the bottle, all you need to do, is to apply the lotion every 4 hours, and your dry skin problems will be resolved. The lotion is supposed to lock in the natural moisture in your skin, thus preventing it from ever becoming dry. According to the manufacturer, it's better than all other products, as it doesn't fool your skin into "thinking" that it has enough moisture. The claim is that other products make your skin even drier, as applying a moisturizer causes your skin to release less moisture. I must admit that as far as advertising goes, Gloves in a Bottle should win a CLIO award. Unfortunately, the product does not live up to its outrageous claims. After having used the product for the past 3 weeks, I find that it is all but useless. I've applied it according to the directions, but it simply doesn't work. Maybe it will work for some people, but for me it was a total waste of money. Basically it comes to this. You put a small amount of lotion on your hands, than rub them together until it is completely absorbed. For a few minutes, it made the palms of my hands softer, but did little to nothing for my cracked fingers. After an hour, the lotion all but evaporates from your skin. The manufacturer claims that the product shields your skin and doesn't wash off. Exfoliation of your skin will eventually cause the lotion to wear off, but this is something that takes a lot of time. My first question when using this miracle product, is why does it have to be reapplied every 4 hours if it doesn't wash or wear off for a long period of time. I got my answer after using it for the very first time. The lotion does in fact wash and wear off. The only way for it to be effective, would be to reapply it every hour of the day. Obviously, no one is going to do that, as the entire bottle would be depleted in a few days. After discovering that this product is all but useless for me, I went to my local CVS store and asked a pharmacist if there was any product that would work for me. I insisted that whatever she recommended would not be greasy, as I can't stand having greasy hands and fingers. Her response was that I would need to use a cream, rather than a lotion. She said that lotions contain alcohol, which is the worst possible substance to put on dry skin. Since I still couldn't stand the thought of applying a greasy substance to my hands, I searched the moisturizer section for a lotion that did contain alcohol, yet claimed to have other substances that would keep your skin moist, and do so without making them feel greasy. Out of sheer frustration, I ended up buying several products. With the exception of one, all of them ended up being useless. The one that worked, was the 13 Ounce bottle of Curel Ultra Healing Lotion. To my amazement, this product completely eliminated my dry, cracked skin, and did so without causing the dreaded greasy feeling. I paid $8.99 for a bottle of the Curel lotion, but find that it's much less expensive on Amazon. The bottom line is that if you have mild to moderately dry skin, Gloves in a Bottle may work for you. If, on the other hand you have severely dry skin, with cracked and bleeding fingers, the product is a complete waste of money. The Curel lotion mentioned above comes highly recommended from me, as it's the one and only product that I've ever used, that actually works. I realize that my review is not in line with what other people have to say about Gloves in a Bottle, but it's an honest review of how the product performed for me. I hope that I've helped people out.

Really like this product. Last winter, my hands constantly bled from dryness. I tried every cream I could think of, but nothing worked to heal them. Then I tried Gloves in a Bottle and it has been amazing. My hands have not actually bled this winter so far at all. You need to apply it fairly regularly for it to be at its most effective, but then it works like a charm! Would definitely recommend! I even use it on my 4 year old daughter’s hands that are also sensitive to the cold and wind. Works well on her, too.

Buying Guide

Psoriasis lotion is a great product that helps to keep your hands soft and moisturized. The first factor to consider before buying psoriasis lotion is your skin type. If you have dry, sensitive skin, you may need a thicker formula containing shea butter, cocoa butter, or ceramides to lock in moisture and prevent skin irritation. On the other hand, if you have oily or acne-prone skin, you may opt for a lightweight, non-greasy formula. The next factor to consider when purchasing psoriasis lotion is the ingredients. Look for natural, nourishing products which can help hydrate and soothe your skin. Avoid lotions that contain harsh chemicals like parabens, phthalates, and synthetic fragrances, which can irritate your skin and cause allergic reactions. The scent of the psoriasis lotion is another crucial factor to consider. Some people prefer unscented lotions, while others enjoy fragrant lotions that leave a pleasant scent on their skin. If you're sensitive to fragrances or have allergies, choosing a lotion with a mild, natural scent or no scent at all is best. When purchasing psoriasis lotion, choosing a brand with a good reputation for quality and safety is essential. Research the brand and read customer reviews to ensure the product is effective and safe. Finally, consider the price of the psoriasis lotion. Psoriasis lotions range in price from a few dollars to more than $20 per bottle. Remember that expensive doesn't always mean better; some affordable psoriasis lotions can be just as effective as their pricier counterparts.
