To be honest, I had decided not to do any gardening this year. The past couple of years have been focused on healing and learning that I don't always have to do everything. But my husband suggested a way to simplify things and maybe do a raised bed or two, since he knows how much gardening means to me. That's when I came across the Seeding Square, and it was the answer to getting those seeds in the ground. I absolutely love it! I tend to overthink and overcomplicate things, but the Seeding Square was the perfect solution to this problem. I was able to get two beds fully planted in just two days.

This was very easy to use and I love that it comes with a handy chart to tell you how to space some common seeds and starters. Before this I was taking a ruler and marking that way, but now planting goes sooooo much faster! AND everything just looks much nicer as it’s growing in nice little rows and columns. Oh and the little tool for making holes and scooping seeds is very handy with those itty bitty seeds that seem to disappear in your fingers.

This was so worth it! First year really trying to start a garden. I have 4 raised beds, each are 4’x8’ and I used the square to evenly plant everything and I was able to really maximize the space of each bed. Saved me time and was super easy to use. Love that the stick has a little spoon end to easily pick up the seeds to drop in the holes. I didn’t really use the funnel portion but I understand how it could be useful. Highly highly recommend!

I used this in our large garden and was able to get more seeds in than previous gardens bc of exact spacing and organization. It is very useful , sturdy enough and color coded making it fool proof. I think this would be very helpful if you are teaching children how to garden.

The seeding square makes it so easy to plant seeds in a square foot garden. The square comes with a chart that tells you how many of each seed to plant in a square foot. It also comes with a funnel and a tool to make a small hole at the correct depth. My seeds are coming up and they are so orderly!

This little square is genius. It helps me plant seeds sooooo much quicker and easier. Trust me, if you plant lots of seeds by hand, you need this

I bought this for the kiddos to help me make a garden for my wife for mothers day. It's super simple to use and easy to understand. Very handy in the garden!

This makes seed planting much quicker and it is so easy to use. The only thing you have to know beforehand is the depth the seeds need to be planted. The included tool for making the holes has the depth measurements right on it. What a great garden tool.

I planted some seeds this weekend and finally used this Seeding Square that I bought months ago. It seems to be a very handy guide and gives a good visual of how far apart the seeds/seedlings are to be planted.Only problem is that it seems that this device is intended to for when you have the luxury and good fortune of planting seeds, seedlings, and everything in your garden all at the exact same time. This weekend I planted some seeds. In a couple of weeks, I'll plant seedlings. So if my seeds that I planted this weekend actually sprout by the time I need to use this as a guide when I plant my seedlings, then I'm worried this square will CRUSH my delicate new sprouted seeds when I go to plant the seedlings. And vice versa. If I used this square as a guide to plant my tomato seedlings, and then shortly after (for whatever reason), came back to plant seeds, I would crush or damage my seedlings when I place this square on top to measure. You get what i'm saying?So it's a great tool to give a visual, but it has it's limitations.
