I specifically chose Sleepnitez wedge pillow because it seems better compared to other wedge pillows available on the market. It is better in dimension/slope and memory foam (details below). The majority of the memory foam is 3”, while at the very top it is closer to 3.25” inches. It’s softer and squishier than I expected, which can be a negative for someone who likes firm. It came vacuum sealed and rolled up. I didn’t time it but it definitely took less than one hour to form into shape (almost instant!).Positives-Tencel pillow case/cover is good quality. It has a medium thickness and is very soft.-No offensive odor. It smelled “new” like majority of memory foam products.-Large size and gradual slope (25.2"W x 27.2"L x 8”H). This takes up almost half of my full/double size bed. The pillow is longer than the average wedge pillows. A short/steep slope could hurt your spine or neck.-No rib pain!-Offers much more memory foam (3” to 3.25”) compared to competitors. This is better for side sleepers like me. (Just take a look at my photo carefully. Look at how much memory foam you are getting at your lower back then compare it to competitors. With this brand there’s no firm foam at the lower back, only soft memory foam. It is unique. *FYI, the creamy white is the soft memory foam while the bright-white is the firm high density foam foundation.*)-Soft but supportive. (I am lightweight though so it doesn’t sink for me.)-Helpful for GERD, coughs, nasal congestion, snoring, and heart conditions-Expanded/inflated into full size almost instantly without any issues.Potential Negatives-This isn’t considered firm, so I suggest you look elsewhere if you are searching for that.-Buying spare pillow cover is kind of pricey and hard to find the right size.-Difficult to find a headrest pillow to work well with this wedge pillow. (Sleepnitez should copy InteVision and provide us a headrest pillow). Proper headrest pillow makes a huge difference in comfort.-Tips--Be careful when washing/drying the original wedge cover. Make sure to either line dry or use low heat. Mine shrunk a bit.-Remove wedge cover after unboxing so it could expand/inflate quicker and more efficiently.-It took me a while to transition to a wedge pillow. I nearly gave up. I have finally adapted and have some tips that might help: (1) Find a flat/slim/small pillow for the head. I ordered a child’s pillow and it works well. (2) Place a pillow below your butt/thigh area. It’ll keep you from sliding down. They also sell a leg elevation pillow if a regular pillow doesn’t work. (3) Try to sleep on your back if possible. It’s more comfortable to sleep in that position with a wedge than the side.——————-*UPDATE/EDIT* July 2024I recently bought it again for the second time! I saw it on sale and thought I might as well replace it since it’s been a few years. Since my original review, they have added wedge pillow covers and a headrest pillow. Both sold separately. I’m so glad because the covers I had from other companies made the foam curl since they were not the right size/fit.

My husband should be writing this review because this pillow is the reason I no longer snore at night. It has the perfect incline and sturdy stuffing. Great purchase!

This bed wedge expanded quickly and smells fine. I stacked 2 to 3 pillows behind it to customize. The higher stack of pillows makes it more comfortable for me to sleep on my side, but I will use one less pillow if I want to sleep on my back. I am using this for reflux and post nasal drip issues. I am 5' 3" 140ish lbs: with my head on the added pillows my whole upper torso including hips is on the wedge and the foam is soft and doesn't compress too much...I still get plenty of elevation to suit my purposes. I don't feel the taper where the wedge meets the mattress at all. I love it!

I am 5’6” and about 133 pounds, this works perfect for me to sleep on my side. Sometimes I’ll lay on my back and it works fine that way also. Comfortable and supportive, very happy with the product.

We like these. Seems just the right height to help with reflux for both of us.We both sleep better with these wedges.The price was ok. And after a few months, seem to be holding their shape.Very soft. Comfortable.The only con is they don’t have a “pillow case”, so I have to make them to fit.

I like that this wedge is low enough not to bother the herniated discs in my neck but high enough to keep me from snoring and from experiencing GERD.

When i saw the box, I was worried that the pillow will be deformed since this is my biggest concern. However, the pillow is vaccum-packed and stored properly. After opened, the shape is being retained. I went to wash the cover before trying.It is comfortable and my sleep has been reasonably well. As I have been suffering from sleep apnea for years, it is still early to say if this help with my condition.Will recommend others to give this a try.

The Sleepnitez 8" wedge pillow seems to be well-made and is very comfortable when resting or sleeping on my back. However, I found it is difficult to get comfortable when sleeping on my side. Sleeping with no pillow doesn't work and my regular pillow is fairly thick and firm. I think I need to buy a thinner pillow that will allow my neck to be at the proper angle with the wedge.

I have a tendency to slip down it.

This product came in nicely packaged, rolled up in a relatively small box. It expanded almost instantly when removed from the plastic inner wrapping. I did not detect a strong odor; just a normal foam odor that quickly dissipated within 24 hours. The wedge is 8 inches at its deepest edge, which is recommended (6-8, with 7.5 inches being most recommended). And I like how it tapers to almost nothing at the end, making it so you do not feel the bottom corner at all when sleeping! Love that. However, there are two things I don’t love about it: 1. The memory foam part is a topper that is less than half the depth; the under layer is a dense foam, and it is not very comfortable. It IS better than those wedges made entirely of dense foam, but it still does not make for a comfy sleep, and it takes several days to get used to (or mostly used to), and 2. It is wide and long; the other dimensions are over 25 and 27 inches. As a smaller adult (5’4”), it seems quite large overall. I can’t make the bed with it, as it looks funny with the other pillows, storing it under the bed is bad for dust, it’s too large to store it next to the bed, and so it is placed in the closet where it is inconvenient to get out every night. However, I do what needs to be done. I use it for acid reflux problems. The first night I used it, I got no sleep at all. It was hard to get used to, and my spouse had to get used to it in the bed, too. I took it to the guest room for the next two nights so I could get used to sleeping on it without disturbing my spouse. After that, I took it back to the main room and it’s been pretty good. Still not perfect. I am able to use my regular pillow on top of it, although sometimes I wake up with a slight crick in the neck (but it always goes away). Now, two good things: 1. I can sleep both on back and side, 2. It has REALLY helped my acid reflux and I do not wake up with a sore tho at in the morning. I also think it helps with snoring. I am a light to medium snorer, and my spouse reports not hearing any when I use this wedge. Bottom line: it really helps! Wishing point: a slightly smaller, softer wedge would be much more comfortable!

The Sleepnitez wedge pillow exceeded expectations so much that I bought a second one. The wedge is the perfect 45-degree angle to prevent reflux and also watch videos and read in bed. You can use it as is or with a pillow, and the pillow stays right where it should. The wedge is sturdy foam on the bottom, with a thick layer of memory foam on top. As advertised, the front edge of the wedge is soft memory foam that blends into your mattress so there are no lumps or uncomfortable drop-offs under your side or back. The Sleepnitez pillowcase for it is very nice.It fits well. Just zip it carefully so the zipper doesn't catch the fabric and wash it *zipped closed* in warm or cold water and don't dry too hot or too long.

This pillowcase is perfect for the matching wedge. So soft, makes it even more comfortable to fall asleep. I highly recommend it to all.

The pillowcase did not shrink as the ad says it will. The length is about 2” longer than my “Bed, Bath & Beyond” wedge pillow. It is a nice pillowcase though so I just pull it down and tuck it under on the low-end edge of the pillow.

After machine washing and drying, I found that this pillowcase for my Sleepnitez Wedge Pillow fits perfectly. I left the original white, Tencel cover on it, and this new Egyptian Cotton Pillowcase fits exactly as it should - with just enough ease that when you lie down it does not hamper or restrict the intended effect of the memory foam pillow form. It has enough give/slack in it that it is able to work with the memory foam for your comfort. As a seamstress, I can attest to the quality and workmanship of the stitching and the zipper insertion, as it is a nicely covered/lapped zipper with a good zipper pull. I would highly recommend this pillowcase, and I think that as summer rolls around, it would be a good bet that it will be much cooler to sleep on than it was before this new case.

I like the shape of the pillow and it seems to do it’s job, but I was hoping it would be more comfortable to sleep on.

Nice slope to permit better sleep, no detected funny smells or other concerns, so far it is holding up well

This pillow case is a massive upgrade from the form-fitting one included with the Sleepnitez wedge pillow. That one is hard to get back on, which makes washing it a huge pain. Not so with this new one! I was stunned at how easy it was to get this new case on and off in comparison. That, and it's soft Egyptian cotton. If you have a Sleepnitez wedge pillow, this case will make your life much easier, and your nights more comfortable.As for the actual wedge pillow itself, it's great! Very helpful if you need to elevate your body either to reduce or eliminate acid reflux or aerophagia from a CPAP/BiPAP machine. Sleepnitez also now has a Back and Side Sleeper Pillow you can use on top of the wedge that works great, plus it won't interfere with your CPAP/BiPAP mask.

This pillow case fit my wedge snugly and it is really easy to put on and remove.

The zipper broke after being washed, very disappointing. I have a white one from the same brand that’s lasted a lot longer. I don’t recommend this dark pillowcase.

Not what I expected. Paper thin

Tried two of these and both came with bad zippers. One zipper came off in the laundry and the second one arrived with a bas zipper right out of the package. Two strikes is more than enough for any product.
