I'm writing this review because I feel that this product in particular has received a grossly unfair amount of 1-star ratings. Scrolling through said 1-star ratings, I find that the chief complaints stem from users misunderstanding, often grossly, what these kinds of devices are for and how they should be used.In comparison with other brands of this device, I find that the Trusted ones are the best bang for your buck. They are of far more robust construction, and they serve their intended purpose well, which is to provide neck traction for those of us who are on a budget and have cervical spine issues. In my case, I have multiple herniated discs in my cervical spine which press on the nerves supplying my arms. The traction from this device provides me with noticeable relief and makes the issue much easier to manage long-term.What you should not expect is for your spinal issues to be magically cured after one use. There is no device which can do that. I would also recommend taking the time to read the User's Guide and educate yourself a little on how and why traction works to help with certain spinal issues. If you are too aggressive with traction you can injure yourself, whether it be with a Trusted traction device, another brand, or a different type of traction device altogether.Let those who injured themselves and consequently left 1-star ratings serve as a lesson. Your spine is a complicated structure, and you would do well to exercise caution in dealing with issues related to it. I would personally argue that such 1-star ratings are unfair, as the failure in such cases stems from user error and a misconception about what these devices are for. These are for providing traction to the cervical spine in order to relieve pressure and gently stretch the spinal column and related structures. They are NOT for popping your neck and you should NOT expect them to magically cure your neck pain overnight. If you decide to give it a try, start out slow. Adjust the bands until you find a configuration which suits you. I find, personally, that attaching the top band loosely and the bottom band tightly avoids the common complaint of feeling strangled, while still providing the desired traction. You are stretching your neck. If you were to set out to get more flexible, you probably wouldn't start out by trying to touch your elbows to the floor from a straight-legged standing position. That would very likely just lead to injury. A more realistic goal for a beginner would be to touch your fingertips to your toes. This is the same principle. Aim for a gentle stretch for small periods of time at first, and slowly increase the intensity and duration of the stretch over a period of weeks to months. If you are experiencing severe neck problems, PLEASE consult a doctor before trying this or some other home remedy. This is your spine we're talking about. Not a squeaky wheel that just needs some oil. This is a good product which stands above the crowd in terms of quality. Used properly and patiently, these devices can provide significant relief for neck related issues.

I suffer from cervical stenosis, a pinching of the nerves in my neck, that causes numbing and pain in my arm. While receiving physical therapy, my PT recommended using a traction device at home.I chose this device because it was described as comfortable and it allowed me to remain sitting while using it. This device is easy to use, comfortable, and most of all effective. My symptoms are gone and I can now sleep through the night.I highly recommend it.And, after several weeks of use, I received a text from the company asking how the device was working for me. I replied asking if there were any videos that illustrated placement and the company responded with a link to a YouTube video.I was very impressed with their customer service and their desire that the device worked well for me.

I have used this item off and on over the past few months and decided it was time to say how I feel about the Trustted Cervical Neck Traction device. This is by far one of the more pleasant neck pain reliving devices that I have used. I can sit, stand and even lay (with adjusted pillows) with it for longer periods than I originally expected. The device holds its air properly. It is easy to put on and use plus it is about as comfortable as you could ask for from a device that is pulling your collar bone to skull area apart (lol). One of the best things was the customer service that I received from the seller. The first item arrived and worked fine but I noticed some white thread that looked like a factory repair was done to a seam. I contacted the seller and they were also surprised to hear about this especially since the item is completely black. Within two days a new package arrived with a new unit and the seller did not make up any excuses but only worked to satisfy the buyer. My hats off to you Trusted Solutions! Brilliant customer support and fast turnaround. There needs to be more honorable companies like yours. Thank you again and I hope that this review helps. Please click the like button if you are happy with my information and have a great and pain free life. By the way I was never asked to provide a feedback and I feel it was very justly due for the outstanding service provided. Thanks again!

I tried a few different versions from other companies, and none of them fit my smaller neck and head. The wider, longer straps have more Velcro so I can get it to fit okay. Someone really needs to make one for small people, but this gets the job done. The quality seems good; time will tell. It does not have a strong order, and it does not burn or rash like some others I tried. I like the carry bag for travel. In this price range, this is a winner. As for the effectiveness... Love it. These traction devices combined with a denner roll and pt exercises have eliminated my chiropractor bills and kept me active and relatively pain free. Money well spent.

I bought this hoping I'd have some neck relief, the measurements said it would fit my neck. I'm a big man, tall and heavy. Every time I use it, I feel I'm being choked. The straps are awkward and itchy and not simple to attach. Was let down by this purchase, but maybe as I lose more weight it will get a bit easier.

My first broke. I figured I had just pumped it to much. Which was reasonable. The second I was careful with but it actually lasted half as long. Figured I'm just rough on things. But when they called and asked how it was working out, (which I thought was very cool) I told them and they said they world send me out another. That was about a year ago. Still haven't seen it. Maybe they got busy. Or it's a long trip. It's is really helpful before it breaks. After, not so much.

There are holes where the stitches meet so it cannot be inflated. Messaged the seller, at first they are responsive and willing to send a replacement. When asked if there a need to file a 'return' order to amazon, they said no need and that I can throw the product already. 1 week after that there were no response from them at all regarding the replacement. It's a good thing that I didn’t throw the item yet.

Received the item with a hole in the middle and unable to inflate. Emailed to change but seller not responding despite chaser email. The texture of the product is very rough as well and uncomfortable. Very disappointing.

Buying Guide

Whether you've been experiencing neck discomfort, working long hours at a desk or simply aiming to maintain flexibility, finding the ideal neck stretcher can provide much-needed relief. These products are not intended to crack your neck as some may claim, but rather can help provide relief through gentle stretching. To ensure you choose the best option, several key factors should be considered. Begin by assessing the design and materials of the stretcher. Opt for a model that is ergonomically shaped and crafted from durable, skin-friendly materials. This ensures both comfort during use and the longevity of the product. Pay attention to the stretcher's adjustability; look for one with customizable settings to cater to your unique needs. A multi-level adjustment feature allows you to gradually increase the stretch intensity as your comfort and flexibility improve. The stretcher's portability is also important, especially if you plan to use it at home and on the go – a collapsible design can be more convenient. Additionally, a contoured surface that mimics the natural curve of your neck provides better support. Easy maintenance is essential, so choose a stretcher that's easy to clean and maintain. Remember that consistent use leads to better results, so opt for a stretcher that feels comfortable enough for daily use. Lastly, consider any additional features, like built-in massage nodes or heating elements, that can enhance your stretching experience. With these considerations in mind, you'll be well on your way to selecting the best neck stretcher to alleviate tension and promote a more relaxed and flexible neck.
