 I actually received this as a gift and decided to buy two more as gifts for friends. It is beautiful and I use it to cut everything now! I feel like a real chef! I am always chopping veggies every night for dinner and this knife actually makes it fun!

This appears to be a good quality kitchen knife. The design and size of the blade makes for a balanced weight for this knife. Nice workmanship on the wood handle, fancy presentation box. Was quite sharp out of the box but performed better after a few passes with a ceramic sharpening rod to "center" the sharpness of the blade.

I like the 10 inch length the heft and balance of this kitchen workhorse. The wood handle is beautiful. I don't know how it would fare in the dishwasher. I handwash my knives. I like that it comes with a sturdy sheathe and a bonus polishing cloth. The box it comes in is sturdy and has a magnetic closure for knife storage. It remains to be seen how long it will hold an edge.

Good looking knife, but falls short on what you get only average. The wood handle looks great on the smaller size for grip, could be a tad bigger. The steal Damascus design is laser etched or something, does not look good and not sure how it will hold up with use. The blade is not ultra sharp, it barely cuts .75 of an in of paper, this will need to be sharpened prior to use and visible can see that the blades edge is irregular. The worst part the blade itself is soft and will dull out quickly, so not a high carbon blade and will require re-sharpening often. The best thing about this knife is the box it came in and the handle.What I don't like, it is not ultra sharp or high carbon steel, as per the description, and is misleading.Overall 1.8 stars taking into consideration the products description, quality, features, value and cost currently at 28.99. I do not recommend this knife, and is more of a show piece for looks and will disappoint most people. This is an average knife made to look good.

The knife's presentation is alright, at least from a few feet away. The nice pattern on the blade is laser etched on, but that really isn't surprising considering the price of the knife. However, it's surprisingly light and it sadly doesn't seem to hold an edge for very long. If you're very good at honing a knife this could work well for you come on but if if you're getting this because it looks like a nice knife, look elsewhere.

The Cuttero 8" stainless steel chef's knife has quickly become an indispensable member in our set of kitchen utensils. This attractive knife has an ergonomic feel and is comfortable in the hand, easily cutting through meat, fruit, and vegetables.While stainless steel is not recommended as dishwasher safe, this knife is easily hand cleaned with mild dish soap and warm water. With minimal care, this knife has stayed clean and rust-free, at least so far. The knife comes with a plastic sheath allowing you to protect fingers, and the knife itself, between uses.Because of our experiences with the Cuttero 8" knife, we highly recommend this knife either as a gift, or as an addition to your own kitchen.

This is a standard chef knife, it's definitely on the mid-end of the kitchen tool quality spectrum. It has a nice weight to it, it sits well in your hand, and it looks aesthetically pleasing. I'm not sure what the benefit of carbon stainless steel is but I feel like it cuts like the other knives I own. I will say I wish it were sharper right out of the box since they're safer to handle and this one cuts about the same as my more dull, older knives. It comes with protective plastic tips for transportation and storage, as well as a blade shield.
