First time using a Lazer Level, so I have seen quite a few of these lately but never thought of getting one until now. I am kind of old-school, doing things by hands, keeping things simple, but when I saw this one that comes with a Green Laser light instead of Red, it caught my eyes. For some reasons Red laser doesn't work too well with my eyes but it's a personal thing only, I supposed. Anyway, the other thing that put me off of getting one of these laser level was that I thought the setup was just too cumbersome compared with my old-school leveling stick :). Also, the "self-leveling" thing was kind of confusing to me as well. I thought this little laser level was going to adjust, and rotate by itself to get the lines levelled, but that was not the case :). Anyway, now that I have tried it, it was a better experienced than I'd expected. This laser level is well built, rugged, durable and easier to use than I first thought. It's not too big, heavy or difficult to setup at all. I would say it's a little larger than my measuring tape with the 3 laser windows sticking out on the sides. It did look a little overwhelming to me at first with all the buttons on top and the remote control but don't let that discourage you. Those buttons are just for turning ON/OFF the three laser lines (1 Horiztontal , 2 Verticals) as well as increase/decrease the laser light intensity, similar with the remote control buttons, nothing too complicasted. As far as the self-leveling vs. manual mode, there is a little level or balance indicator LED on the other side of the battery indicator LEDs that flashes between RED and GREEN, a solid Green means that it's in balance, and a flashing RED means that you will have to manually rotate or adjust until it's balanced/levelled or the LED turns Green, the 3 laser lines will also stop flashing as well. For the Manual Mode, the level/balance indicator LED will stay on RED, it's just for when you want to set it at a fixed angle only. All this may sound complicated but it's quite simple to operate once you try it out. It does come with a very nice, well padded zipper carry case that contains a strong magnetic L-bracket as well as the remote control and USB-C charging cable. It you have a 1/4" threaded tripod, it will work with this laser too. Good battery life, long lasting but depending on use and laser light intensity setting of course. Bottom line, I am glad I got to try this laser level out, will be using it more now, great for wall paintings, remodeling, as well as hanging pictures around my house too.

Picked this up while looking at Bosch and Dewalt for 1/3 the price of the name brand units. Seems to be an equal to the name brand in look, feel, and performance.I love the fact that you can use this in self-leveling mode or in manual mode. Manual mode is great if you're wanting to set up a predetermined slope while self-leveling mode works for establishing a level line around the room or vertical lines from floor to ceiling.While it takes a little getting use to, the instructions are pretty self-explanatory once you work with it a little.Lasers are bright and also adjustable to save battery. The unit came about 75% charged and recharges with the included USB-C cable or any other USB-C cable and user provided charging block.This level is built like a tank although I haven't done any drop testing to find out if it's built as solid as it feels.The included remote works great for turning off and on the vertical and horizontal lasers, as well as dimming the laser if you need to save battery. The included magnet mount allows you to hang the laser on metal studs or on any other steel item as well as having a hole that allows you to hang it on a wall with a nail or screw.Overall a great buy considering the cost of comparable big name laser levels. Really happy so far but I'll update if anything changes as I use this.

RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX I WAS ABLE TO TURN THIS ON AND USE IT TO HANG A BANISTER. I WAS ABLE TO TILT IT SO THAT I KEPT THE BANISTER A EQUAL DISTANCE AT BOTH ENDS. THE GREEN LASER MAKES FOR EASY VISABLILITY. IT COMES RECHARGES WHICH IS NICE SO THAT DEAD BATTERIES DONT BECOME AND ISSUE. WITH THAT BEING SAID IM NOT SURE HOW LONG THIS WILL HOLD A CHARGE. THE CARRYING CASE IS COMPACT AND HOLDS THE UNIT ALONG WITH A COUPLE OF THE ACCESSORIES THAT IT CAME WITH.

Wow. I love this thing. The instructions on something like this are critical and these instructions are good. The controls are easy to manipulate and respond as expected.The screw hole in the base works well with the included mount. Turning the horizontal and vertical lasers on and off is straightforward. The battery has lasted as long as I need it to, but it is easy to plug it in if you need to recharge.I just love how easy it is to project a level line on a wall, staircase or anything so you can put up trim, patterns for paint or accessories like pictures and obvious construction applications.This is a very versatile tool and will always come in handy.If you know someone who is into decorating, construction, remodeling, etc., this is a fantastic gift.NOTE: like most USB-charged things these days, it does not come with a power block. It has the cord, but not the charge block.

I have been looking for a laser level for ages at the right price point, green laser, and nice case. I got this laser level with stacking coupons for below $33 shipped and that snagged it right away. It even comes with a nice magnetic holder for the times you have steel around you and you can ditch the tripod. Perfect when you have multiple things at large distances you want to level together or just just want square up a single item on the wall. Very easy operation. a lock mode for the pendulum for storage or manual operation and a on off button...that's it! It takes 2 AA batteries which are included but maybe in the future they could design it for a lithium rechargeable battery so it's always ready to go on a full charge. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase and can't wait to use it on future projects!

I haven’t used a $250 product of this type but this worked very well at a fraction of the price. I used it to hang cabinets. I had to determine the lowest part of my ceiling to hang cabinets all at the same level. The upper half of the unit did not allow the laser line to be within an inch of the ceiling but it did give a good level line to measure from, across the room. Quite satisfied

It is a good laser Leveling. I used it to hole in the wall, it is a pretty good item. For my personal using experience, it may have leveling adjustment by the machine itself. The red leveling is flashing, if the laser leveling does not lay flat. However, if you want to change the battery, the cap is too hard to open. It may break my finger.

Purchased this laser level to hang custom shelving... Probably one of the best purchases I have made on Amazon. This thing is awesome and makes hanging shelves a breeze. Looking forward to using it to hang pictures also. A good quality laser level at a great value. The light is bright and easy to see. Comes with a nice storage case as well. Simple to use, even for those of you who have never utilized one. If you are browsing to purchase one, you won't go wrong with this one, I assure you!

Great little unit to have around, came packaged really well with a hard shell zipper case to store the laser level unit in. It came with brand name batteries and instructions are hard to visualize but after the first few uses it becomes simple to understand. The tab to open the battery compartment is very rigid and hard to open, had to use a flat blade screwdriver as fingernail would have broken.There is a standard screw hole for it to fit into any camera tripod. There is an included bracket with magnets so very useful for attaching to metal surfaces. Just keep it safe and I think it will last a long time.

This was a gift for my best friend to replace his old one that was broken. He is very happy with it. I purchased this one because of its features and high rating. I would buy this again.

Works but doesn't work outside or with lights on. Bought it hoping to use it on my sawmill to level the logs, but outside it doesn't work more than a foot away. Tried it inside and if you focus really hard you can see the cross mark

Is easy to use and levels itself easily. Very bright for indoor use, but would imagine it would be hard to see with bright sunlight from windows or outside. Definately recommned.

I was impressed with the apparent build quality and modes of operation. Also, it came with two battery packs and USB charging cord that can be used in an accessory port in your pickup. Very bright indoors, however, it is difficult to see outdoors on a sunny day.

Was very skeptical of this purchase but was pleasantly surprised when it came in. I used it for setting cabinets in a remodel and worked great. No more holding a level and scribing lines just set up, make your level marks and chalk your lines. A real time saver.

So… I really actually like this laser level BUT it does have one issue that led me to return it for a different model.Let me start with the good - I’ve ordered a few different laser levels so far that I’ve tried out from Amazon and this one stood out to me as far as build quality and precision. Well testing out different laser levels. I’ve learned a few things which I can share with you.I have noticed some less expensive levels tend to have too thick of a line on the laser beam itself which can cause inaccuracies when in practical use, but this one has an acceptably thin while still being bright and visible.The body seems very solid and has a good weight to it, which is actually important so that wind or small vibrations on the surface the level is resting on/attached to do not shake the level while you’re trying to use it. When I tested out levels that did not have enough weight to them it often resulted in a continuously wobbly laser line that you really can’t work with in real life applications (visualize, trying to draw a straight line on the side of a building, well standing on a boat that is gently rocking with the waves)So having a little weight is important in my experience - which brings me to my only complaint about this particular model - it doesn’t come with a lot of accessories, but the only mount that it comes with CAN NOT support the weight of the laser level without causing it to sag to the point that it can no longer self level. If you’re not familiar with self-leveling laser levels, they do self level, but only within a certain range - you must place the level somewhere that is fairly even or the lasers will flash letting you know that the surface is too uneven for it to self-level - and unfortunately when I hang it on the stand, it starts to droop down and flash it’s warning. So for that reason, I am going to be returning this particular model, and exchanging it for the LASGOO 3Ds instead.Although I haven’t tried it out yet, from what I can tell, the main differences are that the 3Ds has a different type of stand, which I am hoping will work better, it only includes one battery instead of two, and it has a remote which this model I am reviewing (LASGOO 3D) does not.So I’ve got my fingers crossed that the 3Ds stand will work better, but if not, I will update this review.

For the price, this is an amazing product!! Should be priced higher! Other high end brands for the same thing is $400-$500. I never write reviews but this was above and beyond my expectations. I originally bought a different product from another company which was on sale from $189 to $80. It was cheap china plastic and terrible quality. Total clickbait! Used it once and wasn't even level. So happy I returned it and decided to spend a little extra on the LasGoo!! 100 ft laser which is super clear and sharp to see. It also has two sized threads on the bottom, one of which fits on your standard photography tripods, which is super helpful. Can't recommend this product enough!

Very precise self leveling laser, makes your life easier with covering all three axis. Remote works pretty fine, self leveling feature works fast as well, and magnetic stand is strong and reliable.

I’m disappointed that they have to send defective products like laser that has not been properly checked or properly adjusted to give you a level and plumb lines not on inch off on both sides due to this defective product had to postpone my project until the replacement was shipped, disappointed

Works great out of the box. Batteries were fully charged on arrival. Feels very well built. Based on a 360 degree test the self leveling is very accurate. Outdoors it performs well in overcast conditions and equal to my Bosh cross line. Like all laser levels that I’ve used it doesn’t do well in direct sunlight. For what I use it for its well worth the price and much better than spending $700 for a name brand one at Home Depot. I highly recommend and hope it will be as durable as it feels.

I have bought this laser Level to help me fit a new kitchen, it is important that all the base units are completely level particularly the top surface, not least because I am having a work surface made to fit.At first I struggled to get the laser lines to be perfectly level, having set the laser up sat on the tripod and although I had levelled the tripod the lines were slightly out when checked with a builder's spirit level.Until I discovered that there was a lock that needed to be released for the self levelling to work, after that discovery it was amazingly accurate and its true use became apparent. It has made the builders spirit level redundant for most things.If I had a negative it would perhaps be that the instructions were not as clear as they might have been... but the device is 1st class, and the inclusion of two rechargeable batteries is great.
